One of the many handmade sugar Easter egg creations designed by Jason Myers. Thirty of his eggs will be available on Friday, March 6, at Wheatgrass Arts and Gallery to view and purchase.
Just in time for Easter, Jason Myers will have 30 of his exquisitely designed and handmade sugar Easter eggs at the Wheatgrass Arts & Gallery's Artist of the Month reception, located at the gallery, 523 2nd Ave. S., Glasgow.
This is Myers' second year to take on this endeavor at the gallery, which has proven to be eye-candy for anyone visiting the gallery during its show.
Each piece is made of a sugar and water solution that is molded in an egg shaped form. The surface is then decorated with fondant or icing, making each egg a unique creation. Some eggs will be fully enclosed and others will have "peep holes" harboring tiny scenes within. Everyone is welcomed to join us on Friday, March 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Each egg will also be available to purchase through a silent auction.
