Polar Putt Putt 2020 This Saturday

We’ve almost made it through December and the Glasgow Downtown Association is celebrating! While it’s not quite warm enough to bring a band to the streets, we’ve opted to welcome you into nine business locations for a one-day miniature golf tournament on Saturday, Jan. 25.

Two-person teams are now welcome to sign up for an entry fee of $30. Costumes are encouraged (with prizes), but not required. The tournament will include an 80 percent payout and multiple giveaways. To sign up, contact Two Rivers Economic Growth or the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce at 228-2222.

What should you expect? Nine miniature golf holes set up at the following locations/times:

10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Hole 1 – Markles Warehouse

Hole 2 – D&G Sports and Western

Hole 3 – Robyn’s Nest

Hole 4 – Nemont Telephone

Hole 5 – Markles Ace Hardware

Hole 6 – Shippwrecked

4 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Hole 7 – Montana Bar

Hole 8 – Busted Knuckle

Hole 9 – Glasgow Elks Lodge

Holes can be completed in any order with several businesses offering savings and treats while you’re there.

All are invited to join us at the Glasgow Elks Lodge for the Polar Putt Putt Awards Ceremony starting at 8 p.m. Saturday evening. You must be 21 to take part.
