The Scottie Girls challenged each other at their Red and White Game on Nov. 29. The game gave the girls a chance to play in front of a crowd before launching into intermural play on Dec. 12 in Saco. Head Coach Travis Nielsen commented on the game saying, "We look good after eight days of practice. We have to get in shape a little more and I think if we can keep everybody healthy we will be heading into the season solid." The Glasgow Scottie Boys basketball team challenged each other to a game on Nov. 29 for the Scottie Red and White Scrimmage. The game gave the boys a chance to test the skills they picked up during their short practice leading up to the event. Coach Paul Yoakam stated, " It was great to play in front of some fans. We had an excellent turnout for a scrimmage. I saw a lot of things I really liked and a few areas we really need to focus on before our first game. We have a great group of kids to work with." Yoakam said the JV team will take part in the Class C showcase this weekend. He said he is interested to see how the team handles that situation compared to practice. " We still have a ways to go but I expect them to compete hard right out of the gate," said the coach.
