American Red Cross Makes it Easy and Rewarding to Save Lives

The American Red Cross urges eligible donors to be the lifeline for patients in need this holiday season by making an appointment to give blood. While helping to save lives is likely motivation enough, those who come out to give until Dec. 18, will also receive a $5 Amazon.com gift card via e-mail, courtesy of Suburban Propane.

In Valley County, there will be an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Glasgow VFW, 1222 US Highway 2, and the John Marvin Ambulance Building in Opheim, 75 Main, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

There will also be a drive on Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at FMDH, 621 3rd St. South, and at the Hinsdale Legion Hall from 1 to 6 p.m.

Donors of all types, especially O, are encouraged to make an appointment by downloading the Red Cross Blood App, going to http://www.redcrossblood.org or those wishing to attend the Glasgow drives by calling Leila Seyfert at 263-0321.
