Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913

Sandra 'Sandy' Jean Agosto

Sandra "Sandy" Jean Agosto died at the Billings Clinic in Billings, Mont., on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born July 16, 1951, in Torrington, Wyo., to David Delfino Negrette and Rose Herrera. On June 27, 1975, she married her love, Humberto Bosch Agosto, who stayed by her side for 44 years.

Sandy loved to read, shop, sew, make quilts and loved to love on her family. She treasured her children and her grandchildren and embraced every moment that she had with them. Sandy spent hours making quilts for her children and her grandchildren to ensure that a part of her would always be with them when she could not be there.

She had a bright smile, easy sense of humor and just a tiny bit of a stubborn streak. She worked for 18 years as a librarian at the Glasgow City-County Library, in Glasgow, Mont. She loved her job and loved the people she worked with.

Sandy is survived by her husband Humberto; four sisters, Margaret, Rita, Francis and Marina; and one brother, David.

She is the loving and devoted blue star mother of Humberto Joseph, David Paul, Mario Carlo and Eboni Jennifer. She also deeply loved her grandchildren, Miki, Desta, Michael, Selena, Alex, Zachary, Joseph, Sarah and Grace. Sandy's friends, Evangelical Church, and the little community of Glasgow were near and dear to her heart, and she will be there in spirit.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, at the Berean Church with Reverend John Wilhelm officiating. Visitation at the church was one hour prior to the service.

Burial followed in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Lingle, Wyo., next to her mother and other family.

Memorials may be given to the Evangelical Church in Glasgow. Arrangements are by the Colyer Funeral Home and condolences may be sent to http://www.colyerfuneralhome.com.
