Calendar of Upcoming Events in the Area

For September and October, the Valley County Pioneer Museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Fort Peck Interpretive Center is open during the month of October, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Powerhouse tours are available only by advance appointment. Call 406-526-3493 for more information.

WEDNESDAY – OCT. 30

7 p.m. - Rural Road Improvement Districts Meeting at the Glasgow Senior Citizens Center. All homeowners and users of Skylark Road are encouraged to attend.

THURSDAY – OCT. 31

8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. - Halloween Trick-or-Treating at The Glasgow Courier.

2:30 – 4:30 p.m. - Halloween Carnival at Valley View Home.

3 – 5 p.m. - Kick-Off Halloween at First Community Bank. There’s be plenty of goodies, great drawings for the kids and a chance to win cash prizes.

4 p.m. - Northern Lights 4-H Club Halloween Party at the Opheim School. All are invited.

5:30 – 7 p.m. - Trick-or-Treating at Valley View Home.

5-7 p.m. - GHS Key Club Trick-Or-Treating for local food bank.

5-9 p.m. - Public Haunted House at 214 5th St. N, Glasgow. Bring a canned food for the food bank or monetary donation for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

FRIDAY – NOV. 1

9 – 5:30 p.m. - Robyn’s Nest Christmas Open House, 501 First Ave. S., Glasgow.

SATURDAY – NOV. 2

7 10 a.m. - Valley County Senior Citizens serve breakfast, featuring homemade regular and sourdough pancakes, sausage and eggs to order the first Saturday of every month. Cost is $5 per person and $7.50 for those with big appetites.

9 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Autumn Harvest Bazaar at the Glasgow Civic Center.

9 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Photos with Santa hosted by C&B Operations, 54272 Highway 2 East. Get your photos taken with Santa and enjoy hot chocolate and cookies.

9 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Robyn’s Nest Christmas Open House, 501 First Ave. S., Glasgow.

9:30 – 11:30 a.m. - Coffee With A Cop at the Loaded Toad, 527 2nd Ave. S., Glasgow.

10 a.m. - 2019 Monster Dash at Sullivan Park Softball Complex.

1 p.m. - Northeast Montana Land and Mineral Owners Association Annual Meeting at the Froid Community Center.

5:30 p.m. - FMDH Foundation Hidden Gems event at the Cottonwood. Dinner starts at 5:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres at 6:30 p.m.

SUNDAY – NOV. 3

Daylight Savings Time Ends. Set Your Clocks One Hour Back.

1:30 p.m. - Nashua Senior Citizens Game Day at the center.

2 p.m. - Pinochle the first and third Sunday at the Glasgow Senior Center. All are welcome.

TUESDAY – NOV. 5

8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Quickbooks Desktop Workshop at the Cottonwood Inn.

5:30 – 8 p.m. - Two Rivers Economic Growth Annual Meeting at the Cottonwood Inn. Social is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., followed by keynote speaker Tayla Snapp from TransCanada and the annual meeting, yearly review at 7:30 p.m.

7 p.m. - Dennis Stroughmatt at the GHS auditorium, the second concert of the Northeastern Arts Network Second Concert Big Sky Series
