For September and October, the Valley County Pioneer Museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Fort Peck Interpretive Center is open during the month of October, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Powerhouse tours are available only by advance appointment. Call 406-526-3493 for more information.
WEDNESDAY – OCT. 9
5:30 – 7 p.m. - McPool Party Fundraiser sponsored by McDonalds. Make sure to purchase an Egg McMuffin.
THURSDAY – OCT. 10
9 a.m. - Live Under the Big Sky – Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Marc Kloker on KLTZ.
FRIDAY – OCT. 11
8 a.m. - NE MT Ag Expo at the Valley Event Center.
SATURDAY – OCT. 12
8 a.m. - Day of Service – volunteers come to the Senior Citizens Center with rakes and trash bags to receive direction.
10 a.m. - Day of Service – volunteers come to the Glasgow City-County Library to do sorting and organizing.
10 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Nashua Fall Bazaar and Craft Show at the Nashua Civic Center, 705 Front Street, Nashua. It might include a decorative egg.
SUNDAY – OCT. 13
3:30 – 5 p.m. - Registration for Learn to Skate with Hi-Line Skating at the Valley Event Center.
4:30 – 6 p.m. - Artist Reception for Douglas G. Gordon at Wheatgrass Arts & Gallery, 523 2nd Ave. S., Glasgow.
MONDAY – OCT. 14
Valley County Courthouse closed for Columbus Day.
4:30 – 6:30 p.m. - Nashua Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Taco Supper at the church, 115 Mabel, Nashua.
TUESDAY – OCT. 15
Noon – Fort Peck Senior Citizens Quarterly Meeting and Potluck at the Fish Hatchery.
5 p.m. - Valley County Refuse District #1 meeting the third Tuesday of the month at the Courthouse Community Room
WEDNESDAY – OCT. 16
1-4 p.m. - Veteran Service Officers will be at the Glasgow VA Clinic. Please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214).
7 p.m. - Humanities Montana and Valley County Pioneer Museum present Beth Judy, author of Bold Women in Montana. She will discuss her book at the Valley County Pioneer Museum.
