Frazer Healing Camp

There will be a Frazer Healing Camp from Monday, July 22, through Friday July 26, at the Frazer School gymnasium. From noon to 5 p.m. daily, healing topics will be discussed including health choices, relationships, boundaries and processing; substance abuse and suicide prevention; grief, art and cultural therapy; and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques.

Speakers at the event will include Jennifer Podemski, Tamara Podemski and Ryan McMahon discussing “All Things Social Media,” as well as Jon Eagle discussing “Equine Therapy (Horse Therapy)”.

Discussions will also be centered around utilizing the medicine wheel model toward bully/cyber prevention, processing grief, self-regulations, mindfulness/meditation, respecting ourselves and our community and self-esteem building.

Friday, July 26, events include Native Laughs with Milo Smith, Donovan Archambault and Adrian. Community members are welcome to attend.

The Healing Camp is sponsored by Frazer Schools, Frazer Youth Alliance, Frazer Community Organization, Oswego Community Organization, Wadopana Powwow Celebration Committee HPDP & NNCTC.

All Frazer students and community are welcome. A meal will be provided daily.
