'Lend Me A Tenor' Opens Fort Peck Theatre's 50th Year

Back by popular demand, Lend Me a Tenor, a multi-Tony Award winner, opens Fort Peck Summer Theatre’s 50th season. A legendary farce, set in 1934 at the famous Cleveland Grand Opera Company, this side-splitting comedy features mistaken identity, revolving doors, over-the-top opera personas, and of course a love story!

The production is directed by former FPST Artistic Director John Rausch, whose many credits with the company include directing Lend Me a Tenor during the 25th anniversary season. According to current Artistic Director Andy Meyers, “We are honored to be welcoming back John to help us kick off our celebration season. It specifically feels incredibly special and nostalgic that he directed Tenor as part of our last milestone anniversary.”

The cast features familiar faces, Alexa Etchart, Christen Etchart, Andy Meyers, Jay Michael Roberts, Pam L. Veis and Megan Wiltshire, along with Rob Watson and Royce McIntosh, both making their FPST debut. Watson is the production manager at Arizona Broadway Theatre and McIntosh has previously performed in the national tours of Mamma Mia, Elf and South Pacific.

Performances are June 7 through June 16, Friday and Saturday the show starts at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, the show starts at 4 p.m.
