The Valley County Pioneer Museum is open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For further information or special arrangements call 406-263-7344.

Fort Peck Interpretive Center will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through the end of September. Powerhouse tours are available by appointment until Memorial Day weekend, May 25, when they are then offered at regular times daily through Labor Day, Sept. 2. Both are free. 5:30 – 8 p.m. - Montana Pint O’Beer Run at the Busted Knuckle Brewery.

THURSDAY – MAY 9

8:30 a.m. - Special Olympics Torch Run starting at the Cottonwood with first responders, then they will meet with area athletes at Tripe-A Glass before finishing at Ezzie’s Westend.

9 & 10 a.m. - St. Marie Condo Board meeting at Town Hall’s meeting room.

10 a.m. - Books and Babies Story Time at the Glasgow City-County Library.

3 p.m. - Valley County Transit Board meeting at the Valley County Transit Office (use the back door/east entrance).

5-7 p.m. - Heather Ordway Medical Benefit Taco Dinner at Glasgow VFW.

5:30 p.m. - GHS Swing Choir 12th Annual Fundraiser Performance at Ridge Runners.

7 p.m. - St. Marie Women’s Club meeting at Town Hall’s meeting room.

FRIDAY – MAY 10

Noon – Nashua Senior Citizens Pot Luck and monthly meeting at the Nashua Senior Citizens Center. Potluck starts at noon with meeting following at 1 p.m.

Local post office is conducting annual food drive for the Valley County Food Bank. Set non-perishable items outside your door.

10 a.m. - 7 p.m. - Mother’s Day Picnic in the Park at Glasgow’s Alumni Park.

1:30-3 p.m. - Paint a Birdhouse at Wheatgrass Arts and Gallery. Contact Mary at 230-0148 to register.

3:30 – 5:30 p.m. - Fourth Annual Red Thumb Reminder Day, downtown Glasgow. Free activities for all ages and stop by participating places to earn prizes.

5 p.m. - North Valley Co. Water and Sewer Meeting at St. Marie Town Hall’s meeting room.

5:30 p.m. - Sunnyside Ladies Spring Fling at Sunnyside Golf Club.

5:30 p.m. - Valley County Democrats Officer Election Convention at the Senior Center.

6 p.m. - Distracted Driving Simulator, hosted by the Save a Life Tour, at Glasgow High School.

1-4 p.m. - Veteran Service Officers will be at the Glasgow VA Clinic. Please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214).

5:30 – 7 p.m. - Alzheimer’s Association Educational Program Effective Communication Strategies at the Valley County Senior Center. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP by calling 800-272-3900.

6 p.m. - Glasgow School Regular Board Meeting in the District Board Room.

THURSDAY – MAY 16

7:30 a.m. - Valley County Free Tree Day on the east lawn of the Valley County Courthouse. Trees are given out on a first come first serve basis.

9 a.m. - 4 p.m. - Legal Documents Clinic hosted by the Department of Public Health and Human Service at the Valley County Senior Center, 328 4th Ave, Glasgow.
