Pehlke, Peterson Leading the Way

The Scottie golfers are having a good season, punctuated by two consecutive wins this last week. The boys and girls swept the Scottie Invitational held at Sunnyside Golf Course on April 26, and the Malta Invitational on April 27.
Leading the way for the Lady Scotties is veteran golfer Lexie Pehlke. Pehlke has been putting up consistent top scores, including a personal best of 87 at the Wolf Point Invitational on April 18. Also contributing to the streak of wins is fellow senior Alexus Nistler and the returning Bailee Baxter and Shanice Lagerquist.
For the boys, Ian Peterson has shown some successes with third-place finishes in the last two meets attended by Glasgow. Peterson, a sophomore at GHS, is supported by juniors Saul Hansen and Donny Brabeck and newbie Dillon Godwin.
The Scotties are scheduled to compete in the Harlem Invitational this Friday, May 3.
