On the Mental Health Walk

Dear Editor,

“In an effort to remove stigma attached to mental health problems, the Valley County Mental Health Committee is sponsoring a Mental Health Walk.”

So long as that prejudice is in the minds of the walkers it will be with them every step of the way. It must be removed from there before one can influence any other individual to remove it.

What is in one’s own mind matters first.
