Busy Highlanders Weekend Highlighted by Middle School Championships

The Glasgow Wrestling Club sent Highlanders all over the state for several competitions this past weekend, including the Montana Middle School Championships in Lewistown on March 2.

Kohl Kittleson placed second in the Middle School 152 division with just one loss in three matches.

William Kirkland won gold in the JV 80-92 division with two pins and one win by decision, and Andrew Linder claimed third place in the JV 125 bracket with just one loss by decision against a Sidney opponent.

Other grapplers were in Glendive at the MidRivers Folkstyle Invitational on March 2, the Phil Schmidt Memorial in Worden on March 2 and the RoadKill Classic in Columbus on March 3.

The Highlanders will be on their way to the State AAU Tournament in Great Falls this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 8-10.
