Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913

Unshelved:

Exciting New Things Coming To Story Time

Save the dates! Join in the fun and learning at the Glasgow City-County Library.

We would love to have you and your child or children join us every Thursday at 10 a.m. for story time. The kids learn many social skills interacting with other kids, various reading skills such as numbers, shapes, rhyming patterns and much more. Adults have an opportunity to meet, interact and learn from each other as well as make new friends.

February Highlights:

The first Thursday of each month, September through June, we have story time at Valley View Home. Due to the norovirus, we will be meeting this Thursday at the library, but plan to be back on March.

Feb. 7 -You’ve Got Mail- Because we are not going to Valley View this month, we will be doing a special project for the Valley View residents at the library instead.

Feb. 14 - Our annual Valley County Friends of the Library Valentine’s Day book give-away is definitely a motivation of love.

Feb. 21 -Pizza, pizza, pizza will tantalize your senses and satisfy your taste buds. We’re hoping to have a surprise guest.

Feb. 28 - We’re going to make snow (the indoor kind), along with a very special snowman.

Additional children’s programs that the library offers:

Lego Club for ages six-12 starting Feb 25, from 4-5 p.m. This will run for six weeks. Lego Club can help expand their imagination and increase their social skills.

The summer reading program will takeoff June 17 and run through July 26. “A Universe of Stories” is our theme this year and will be uplifting for all ages.

Is your curiosity peaked? We hope so. Watch for more information on Facebook and/or our website-www.glasgowlibrary.org.

We look forward to getting together with you.
