The Valley County Pioneer Museum will be open Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. They will be closed for the month of January and resume the stated days and hours starting Feb. 3. For further information or special arrangements call 406-263-7344.

WEDNESDAY – DEC. 12

6 p.m. - Glasgow School Board Meeting at the Glasgow High School.

6:30 p.m. - DC Trip Meeting in room 4 at Glasgow High School. Contact Rod Karst with any questions.

THURSDAY- DEC. 13

9:30 – 11:30 a.m. - Veteran Service Officers will be at Malta City Hall. Please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD 214).

2 p.m. - St. Marie’s Women’s Club meeting.

6 p.m. - VFW and Auxiliary Post 3107 Annual Awards/Christmas Party at the VFW Post in Glasgow.

FRIDAY DEC. 14

10 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Bryan Krumwiede Edward Jones Holiday Open House.

Noon – 1 p.m. - County offices closed so employees can attend a holiday luncheon.

SATURDAY – DEC. 15

10 a.m. - Opheim area church ladies packing “Gift Cans” at the Opheim Community Church.

9:30 – 10:30 a.m. - Hi-Line Skating Registration for the 2nd Session of Learn to Skate Program at the Valley Event Center. For more info., contact Kim Girard at 228-2370.

1 p.m. - 4th Annual Christmas Classics at Valley Cinema. Free admission with doors opening at 12:15 p.m., with the movie Home Alone starting at 1 p.m.

12:30 – 3 p.m. - Northern Lights 4H Club Christmas Party at the Opheim Community Church.

2 p.m. - Pinochle at the Glasgow Senior Center. All are welcome.

4:30 p.m. - Annual Candle Lighting at Nashua Cemetery.

MONDAY – DEC. 17

7 p.m. - Glasgow High School Winter Concert at High School auditorium.

TUESDAY – DEC. 18

12 – 1 p.m. - Valley County Mental Health Local Advisory Council Meeting at the FMDH South Wing Meeting Room. Anyone concerned about mental health in Glasgow welcome to attend.

Noon – Fort Peck Senior Citizens Annual Turkey Potluck at the Fish Hatchery.

Noon – 4 p.m. - Valley Community Food Bank is Open, serving only Valley County residents. The Food Bank is located at 1020 1st Ave. No. For more info., contact Nancy Bowman at 263-1253.

6 p.m. - Opheim Christmas Play and Concert The Night the Reindeer Rocked Christmas at the Opheim Community Church.

6 p.m. - Gingerbread House Decorating at First Lutheran Church. Call the Valley County Extension Office to preregister at 228-6241.

WEDNESDAY – DEC. 19

Noon – Caroling by the Kiwanis Club, Key Club, High School Choir and Builders Club at Nemont Manor lobby.

12:30 p.m. - Senior Citizen Holiday Turkey Dinner served by Opheim High School student council at the school cafeteria.

THURSDAY – DEC. 20

2 – 4 p.m. - Retirement Party honoring Sheriff Vernon Buerkle and Commissioner Bruce Peterson at Glasgow Senior Citizens Center.

Thursdays 9 – 11 a.m. - Social hour at the Nashua Senior Center.

5:30 p.m. - Valley County Democrats meet in the City Council Room of the Civic Center the second Tuesday of each month. All meetings are open to the public.
