Fun Cousin Times Are Wonderful Memories

Some weeks ago I mentioned a friend that has shared old memorabilia with me. I sincerely hope this person did not take offense from my “who needs enemies” remark. I love to have readers and friends share thoughts and memories with me, and I will admit that the some sections of our Pioneer Museum have nothing over on me, as I treasure and keep most old items that trigger memories of our ancestors. This friend has shared many memories that trigger my thoughts for these articles, and I do owe that person many thanks.

I will readily admit there are times I can’t come up with a thing to send to the Courier, and decide I will not contribute to the Courier any longer, then I get a letter, or visit with friends and acquaintances that offer a comment or thank-you, and always decide that maybe I can come up with something a few more times.

Thanksgiving has passed and many of us remember when our families all got together. One family may have Thanksgiving, a different family had Christmas, and on to New Year’s and Easter. That is not as often any more. It just might be that families have grown so much that it is hard to find a place to hold everyone. But the fun cousin times, the music that was played by talented family members, as well as the pranks that were played on cousins, those all are wonderful memories that I hope many of you can look back on. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and wonderful holiday season.
