Country Schools Presentation at Pioneer Museum

Country school were a vital part of our homesteading history. Come join us at the Valley County Pioneer Museum at 2 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 11, for a presentation by the Montana Preservation Alliance volunteers, Martha Vogt and Jim Greene.

They will be showing schools they have been documented in other counties along the Hi-Line over the last few years for the Big Sky Schoolhouse Survey. They will be working in Valley County next summer and need volunteers to do phone research over the winter to discover still-standing schools in our county.
