Lady Scotties Go 4-4-4 in Choteau

The Lady Scotties traveled to Choteau for their first competition of the season on Aug. 24 and 25.

The squad divided the matches evenly with four wins, four losses and four splits. They also earned a tie-breaker win against Fairfield on the second day of competition.

Glasgow's head coach, Somer Hoerster, was pleased with the girls' efforts at the two-day tournament. "We did some really great things," she said, "and after this weekend, now we know we could have played with anyone in that gym."

She conceded, however, that the team is young in experience and noted that a few bad decisions or errors at key times led to some losses that were avoidable.

The Scotties will be in Chinook Friday, Aug. 31, and Saturday, Sept. 1, for their invitational.
