Corrections

Last week The Glasgow Courier printed two innaccuracies in their stories.

In the first story, Boat Fire at Fort Peck Marina. We stated that the boat had been docked when it caught fire. This was clarified later and the boat was not docked but had pulled into the marina on fire and the occupants escaped at the dock.

In the second story, NWS Warns of Gap in Receiving Severe Weather Alerts, we incorrectly stated that a phone can receive severe weather alerts by changing the settings to allow alerts.

This is innacurate. A phone can only receive all severe weather alerts if the owner downloads the FEMA or Red Cross Apps.. Then the owner must allow that app to send notifications

Turning on alerts on the phone's settings only notifies the owner in the event of a tornado, flash flood or amber alert.

The Glasgow Courier regrets all errors and we strive to set the record straight and we thank those who alerted us to those mistakes. If you know of a fact that is wrong in the Courier please write to [email protected] or 341 Third Ave, South, Glasgow, MT 59230. Attn: correction. We will only print corrections for factual errors.
