Grace Bernice Fullerton

Grace Bernice Fullerton, 92, passed away peacefully at Faith Lutheran Home in Wolf Point, Mont., on Wednesday, April 4, 2018.

She was born Oct. 19, 1925, to Betsy (Engg) and George Shipp. She was delivered by her father. She attended school at Rose Hill, Irle and Glasgow schools.

She married Art Fullerton and to this union there were eight children born.

She loved to bowl and did so as long as she could. She made many treasures for her family and friends with her embroidery and blankets.

She is preceded in death by three brothers, Lloyd, Kenny and Albert; her parents, George and Betsy; and one granddaughter, Deanna Penor.

She is survived by eight children, Bernice Penor of Washington, Darlene Holt of Havre, Chet Fullerton of Bayard, Neb., Gloria Scott of Libby, LeRoy Fullerton of Nashua, Liz Kwasney of Circle, Peggy Fullerton of Glasgow, and Herbert Fullerton of Glasgow; 27 grandchildren; 83 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Marvin and Lawrence Shipp; two sisters, Dolores Schneider and Bertha Root; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family received friends from 5 p.m.- 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 10, at Bell Mortuary.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, at Glasgow Evangelical Church with Pastor Bonnie Novak officiating. Burial took place at Highland Cemetery with a luncheon following at the VFW Fort Peck Post #3107.
