Pearl Carol Wesen

Pearl Carol (Zamotsny) Wesen, 95, of Glasgow, Mont., passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Valley View Home in Glasgow.

While in Edmonton she met and married the love of her life, Clayton A. Wesen, on Aug. 19, 1944. They were stationed in New Orleans, La., while Clayton was in the military, where they lived in the French Quarter. Later they relocated to Glasgow, which became their lifelong home and they started their family. She and her dance partner of 62 years, lived and loved together.

Family and friends were her passion and delight. Her warm smile could always light up any room she entered. Her grandchildren were a huge part of her life. She rarely missed events they participated in and was always their biggest fan. She loved writing letters to family members who did not live nearby. She constantly wanted them to know she was thinking of them and held them all close to her big heart.

She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, ELCW, Sarah's Circle, lifetime member of Odd Fellows and Rebekahs, American Legion Auxiliary, Birthday Club, Home Demonstration Club, Boots and Belles Square and Round Dancing Club three days a week, a First Lutheran Church quilter and many more.

She was a lady of many talents, cooking, gardening, baking, knitting, crocheting, and sewing on a daily basis which kept her busy and she was always giving. Her baking and sewing talents won multiple rosettes from the Valley County Fair.

She worked at FMDH for over 40 years. Her door was always open to whomever wanted to come visit, at the same time you would never leave empty handed, or hungry.
