Montgomery to Headline NEMT Fair

December 20, 2017

The Northeast Montana Fair Concert Committee announced on Dec. 15, country artist John Michael Montgomery will be headlining the 2018 Northeast Montana Fair Concert on Aug. 4.

Montgomery is a chart-topping country artist with hits such as “Rope the Moon,” “Life’s a Dance,” “Sold,” “The Grundy-County Auction Incident,” and “I Swear.” With 16 million albums sold in his career, 15 number-one singles and numerous awards and nominations to his name, he is expected to have the crowd singing and dancing.

After a multi-year hiatus, the Glasgow Area Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture, Milk River Motor Sports, KLTZ/Mix-93, Glasgow Rodeo Committee and Glasgow Tourism Business Improvement District worked together to resurrect the fair concert in 2016. According to Committee Chair Haylie Shipp, “With the continued phenomenal support of our community, we will continue to build a bigger and better concert each and every year.”

Pre-sale ticket vouchers are now available at the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture. Adults tickets are $35 in advance and will be $45 at the gate. Students between 5 and 12 years of age can purchase a discounted $20 ticket, while children under 5 will be able to attend the concert free of charge.

For more information, contact Lisa Koski at the Glasgow Area Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture, 228-2222 or Haylie Shipp at KLTZ/Mix 93 at 228-9336.
