WEDNESDAY – DEC. 6

2-3 p.m. - Adults (over the age of 18) who are providing full or part-time care to another adult who has a chronic illness or disability are invited to attend a Caregiver Support Group meeting at the Valley County Senior Citizen Center at 328 4th Street South in Glasgow. Meetings are scheduled for the first Wednesday of every month.

5:30 – 6:30 p.m. - Adults Only Open Skating at the Valley Event Center. $2 to skate, $2 to rent skates, lessons are free.

THURSDAY – DEC. 7

9 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Christmas Open House at First Community Bank, Hinsdale.

9:30 a.m. - The Nashua Community is invited to the Ladies’ Coffee Hour every Thursday at the Nashua Senior Center.

10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Trees and Windbreaks Workshop at Valley County Conservation District. Call 228-4321, ext. 101 for more info.

7 p.m. - The Nashua Lions Club meets at the Nashua Senior Citizen Center.

7 – 8 p.m. - Grief Support Group, GriefShare, at the Glasgow Evangelical Church every Thursday through Dec. 21. Call the church office at 228-2755.

FRIDAY – DEC. 8

7 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Collection for Soroptimists’ Block of Bucks at downtown intersections.

9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. - Christmas Open House at First Community Bank in Glasgow..

Noon – Nashua Senior Citizens’ Association meeting at the Senior Citizen Center. Potluck meal will precede the business meeting.

SATURDAY – DEC. 9

Soroptimists’ Block of Bucks Shopping. Meet at the Glasgow Elks Club at 9 a.m.

10 a.m. - noon – Santa Paws – Pet Photos with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus at the Valley Vet clinic. Donation based event.

10 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Children’s Christmas Store at Milk River Activity Center, 219 2nd Ave. S., Glasgow.

11 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Glasgow AAU Wrestling Club sign-ups at Glasgow High School, Room 1. Open to any child ages 4-18. For more info., call 228-2896.

1 p.m. - Free Will donation viewing of “Miracle on 34th Street” at Valley Cinemas.

5 p.m. - Veteran’s Relief Fundraiser at the VFW. There will be smoked brisket meal with coleslaw and baked beans with free will offering. Door prizes throughout the evening. Everyone is welcome.

7-10 p.m. - Bingo at the Glasgow Senior Citizens. No one under 18 allowed.

8 p.m. - Adult Prom “Life is a Carnival” at the Gateway Club in Fort Peck. Admission is one unopened toy per guest.

SUNDAY – DEC. 10

Social Cards and Game Day will be on the second Sunday from now on, with visiting, dominoes, cards and other games being played at the Senior Citizens’ Center in Nashua. Everyone is welcome.

Tree Lighting Ceremony and decorating the Senior Center yard and a Secret Santa Party for Lucky Clover 4-H Club.

10 a.m. - “Arrest These Merry Gentlemen” performance at Glasgow Evangelical Church.

1-3 p.m. - Rollerskating, sponsored by the Nashua Lions Club, will begin at the Nashua Civic Center every Sunday.

2 p.m. - Pinochle every 1st and 3rd Sunday at the Glasgow Senior Center. Everyone welcome.

2 p.m. Legion and Auxiliary Post 41 Christmas Dinner at the Glasgow VFW. Questions, Angie Wersal 228-8781 or Rene Clampitt 263-8183.

5:30 p.m. - Valley County Democrat monthly meeting at the Loaded Toad, downtown Glasgow.

WEDNESDAY – DEC. 13

Senior Citizen Turkey Dinner at Opheim School. Senior Citizens are asked to RSVP to the school before Nov. 30, by calling 762-3213.

10:30 – 11:30 a.m. - Veteran Affairs Officers will be in Glasgow at Prairie Ridge Village for a Veteran’s Benefits Seminar. If bad weather exists on days of travel, stay tuned to the local radio stations for updated information.

11:30 a.m. Valley County Conservation District board members’ Holiday Luncheon at Fiesta Mexicana in Glasgow.

12 – 3 p.m. - The Northern Lites 4-H Club will host their annual Community Christmas Party at Opheim School Cafeteria. Lunch will be served followed by bingo, cards and games. Everyone is invited to attend.

1 p.m. - Regular monthly board meeting of Valley County Conservation District will be held at the USDA Service Center conference room. All meetings are open to the public. For more info., call 406-228-4321, ext. 101.

1 p.m. - Foot care the second Wednesday of the month at Nashua Senior Center. Sign up by calling the center, 746-3370, or Shirley Ersland, 746-3384.
