Community Involvement Counts

November 22, 2017

The month of November is set aside for giving thanks, spending time with friends and family, and helping others.

The Glasgow Police Department would like to take time this month to thank all of our local business owners and community members.

There are endless reasons to appreciate what your support does for our area. Please indulge us as we take a moment to acknowledge a few things we know about how local collaboration and service benefit our community.

Your involvement contributes to our community’s unique identity. Truly, we would not be us without you. You help create and retain local jobs. You attract business to our community through your individualized services and/or local products. You create a better marketplace for our community; local competition and innovation gives way to a well-served community and a more welcoming atmosphere for visitors and residents! You serve as role models for our children by making safe and healthy choices, every day.

So, for the month of November (and beyond), the Glasgow Police Department invites you to join them in supporting local businesses and our community by being intentional about shopping locally and being mindful in your behaviors and actions. And when you encounter someone making that extra effort, take a second to share with them how much their investment in our community means to you.
