Valley View Home held their annual harvest festival on Nov. 3. Dudley and the Deadbeats provided music and much entertainment to not only residents but also to the community who came out and enjoyed the company.

Five raffle prizes were drawn, with Tony Degette winning $100 in Chamber Bucks, Valley View's own Sally Figmaka won $50 to Eugene's, Annie Capdeville won a Valley View gift basket, Stephanie Becmer won and re-donated Fort Peck Theatre tickets, of which Angie Peterson won, and Cari Radakovich won the Robyn's Nest basket.

All in attendance enjoyed light refreshments and various pies, including blueberry, chocolate cream, coconut cream, pumpkin, pumpkin praline, apple pear, apple, cranberry nut, strawberry rhubarb, just to name a few. Most of the pies were donated for the festival, however residents did have the opportunity to get their hands dirty and have a hand in the baking.

Upwards of $1,000 was raised with all proceeds going towards Christmas presents for the residents, items that are needed throughout the year and resident outings.
