Southern Charm Comes to Glasgow

November 1, 2017

On Friday, Nov. 10, starting at 5:30 p.m., four local area businesses will stay open longer to allow the community to go shopping, relax, eat, mingle and allow shoppers to stay local when starting to plan for the holiday season.

Shippwrecked, 5th Avenue Pharmacy, Table for Six and the Loaded Toad will be offering special discounts, promotions, and displays to get a select number of people in the community in the holiday spirit. This is the second year these businesses have joined forces. This year’s theme “Walking in Memphis” allows the businesses to tie in a jazzy, blues style to each location.

Tickets for this special event are limited and can be purchased at the Loaded Toad for $25. The ticket includes special perks such as a 40 percent discount at 5th Avenue, a special promotion at Shippwrecked, a meal of southern style grits with your choice of toppings provided by Dyan Carlson at Table for Six and the night will be finished off with coffee and deserts at the Loaded Toad.

All proceeds from the evening will sponsor four different kids’ crafting days that will occur later on this year and the early part of next year. These craft days will be organized and put on by Brianna Overbey, allowing children to create a very unique and from the heart gift for someone who needs a special treat in their life.

If you have any questions regarding this event, contact the Loaded Toad at 527 2nd Ave S, Glasgow or by phone at 228-4610.
