Welcoming Casterline Family Chiropractic

Opening its doors in July, Casterline Family Chiropractic is the newest chiropractic clinic in town. "Awesome," was the response that Dr. Brittne Casterline gave when asked how business was going. It's also a common response from her patients as well.

Dr. Casterline became interested in chiropractic care while playing softball in college. The team's trainer was also a chiropractor and with weekly appointments, he helped her with her injuries. The experience made a mark on her so she decided to pursue the field.

The first appointment with Dr. Casterline will usually take about 45 minutes or so, during which she tests the range of motion to the afflicted area, does orthopedic testing, nuero-muscular testing, and takes your blood pressure.

The doctor uses diversified techniques that include manual, drop, and activator adjustments. She also uses a model skeleton to demonstrate what is going on during the treatment, giving patients a visual of what is happening. Casterline employs other therapies such as Graston, manual therapeutic exercise, and kiniesology taping to remove nerve interference, depending on what's best for the patient.

Dr. Casterline is also certified in Webster's Technique, which is beneficial to woman, particularly while pregnant. The technique balances the pelvis and allows for more movement for the baby while in the womb.

Casterline Family Chiropractic is located at 700 First Avenue, Suite 2, on Glasgow's north side, next to The Worx. Appointments can be made by calling 406-228-8212.
