Grant Writing Bootcamp for Nonprofits & Fundraising Workshops at the Cottonwood Inn, Glasgow. Thursday’s workshop from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., cost $150 per person, $125 for Two Rivers Economic Growth members, and Friday’s workshop from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., cost $75 per person, TREG members $65. FRIDAY – OCT. 13

8:30 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. - NE MT Ag Expo at the Valley Event Center. For more info., contact the Chamber at 228-2222.

9 a.m. - 5 p.m. - “Planning for Fundraising Success” allows participant to learn how their nonprofit stacks up against the competition, to be held at the Cottonwood Inn, Glasgow. The fee to attend is $125 per person, however Two Rivers members receive a discounted rate of $100.

Noon – Nashua Senior Citizens’ meal with a meeting to follow every second Friday at the Nashua Senior Center. All seniors welcome.

12 noon - Nashua Senior Citizen Association meeting at the Senior Center. A potluck dinner will precede the meeting. Everyone welcome.

SATURDAY – OCT. 14

A .22 Rimfire Match Shoot at the Valley Co Rifle & Pistol Club. For more information, call D&G Sports in Glasgow.

1-4 p.m. - Ladies’ Club will hold a Root Beer Float Social for Fire Prevention Week at the Town Hall in St. Marie.

6 p.m. - Barbecue Cookoff between Mike Meredith and Zane Gagne at Vick’s Bar in Nashua.

SUNDAY – OCT. 15

11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Nashua Senior Citizens’ Family Meal (Pork Loin Dinner) for the Community at the Nashua Senior Center with cards and games following the meal the third Sunday of each month.

2 p.m. - Pinochle every 1st and 3rd Sunday at the Glasgow Senior Center. Everyone welcome.

3 p.m. CDT - Mick, Lane and Jen Concert at The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center at Fort Buford, N.D.

MONDAY – OCT. 16

Community Cash Program Kick-Off.

TUESDAY – OCT. 17

There will be a Fire Board meeting at 8:30 a.m. and a Water & Sewer Board meeting at 9:30 a.m. the same day at St. Marie.

12 noon - The Fort Peck Senior Citizens’ quarterly meeting and potluck at the Fish Hatchery in Ft. Peck.

5:30 p.m. -October meeting of the Valley County Combined Campaign board of directors at NorVal Electric, 54091 Hwy 2 W, Glasgow.

WEDNESDAY – OCT. 18

1-4 p.m. - Montana Veterans Affairs service officers to visit at the VA Clinic, Glasgow, and Thursday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Malta City Hall in Malta. Bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214). Veteran service officers will visit nursing homes and assisted living centers by appointment only. Call 406-265-4225 if interested.

1:30 p.m. - Foot care will be available at the Nashua Senior Citizen Center. Either call the center at 746-3370 or stop in and sign up. Be sure to bring a pan in which to soak your feet, a towel and lotion.

THURSDAY – OCT. 19

9:30 a.m. - The Nashua Community is invited to the Ladies’ Coffee Hour every Thursday at the Nashua Senior Center.

7 p.m. CDT - History Book Club, “Waheenee” by Gilbert L. Wilson at at The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center at Fort Buford, N.D.

7 – 8 p.m. - Grief Support Group, GriefShare, at the Glasgow Evangelical Church every Thursday through Dec. 21. Call the church office at 228-2755 with any questions.
