WEDNESDAY – SEPT. 13

1-4 p.m. - VA Service officers will be visiting with veterans interested in applying for benefits at the VA Clinic in Glasgow. Bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214) with you.

6-8 p.m. - St. Marie Volunteer Fire Department training. If you would be interested in joining the department, call Chief Rob Esaias at 524-8113 or Assistant Chief August Aho at 363-9733.

5:30 p.m. - First Lutheran Church’s “Christ Servants Inspired (CSI)” kicks off the new year. Registration will start at 5:30 p.m., with dinner to follow at 6 p.m. Preschool aged children through sixth grade are welcome. Any questions contact Michelle Fuhrman or Monica at 228-4862.

THURSDAY – SEPT. 14

9:30 a.m. - The Nashua Community is invited to the Ladies’ Coffee Hour every Thursday at the Nashua Senior Center.

11:15 a.m. - Saco Schools will have Grandparents/Special Person Day. The program will be at 11:15 a.m., followed by lunch at 11:45 a.m. All grandparents and/or special person of the children are welcome.

Noon – Informational meeting on the Montana Postural Care Project and the care they provide at Hi-Line Home Programs, 605 3rd Ave S., Glasgow.

5:30 – 7 p.m. - Cub Scout Registration at St. Raphael’s Gym. For more info., call Kyle Gibson at 208-351-9235.

FRIDAY – SEPT. 15

Ecumenical Evening Worship Service at St. Marie Community Room. Questions, call Alice Hawkins, 524-3397.

SATURDAY – SEPT. 16

7 – 10 p.m. - Bingo at the Glasgow Senior Citizens Center. Quarter a card or 5 cards for a dollar.

SUNDAY – SEPT. 17

Family Integrated Sunday Service is held every Sunday at 175 Ash Street, #B. Pastor Wendell Shrock’s phone number is 406-939-0263. Sunday School at 10 a.m. and Worship Service at 11 a.m.

1 p.m. - Non-denominational Youth Group meets at Opheim High School every Sunday for grades 6-12. More info., call Tom Fauth at 701-260-3135 or Owen Childers at 406-263-5555.

MONDAY – SEPT. 18

3:30 – 5:30 p.m. - Auditions for the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of “Peter and Wendy” at Irle School. Students ages kindergarten through 12th grade are encouraged to audition, no advance preparation is necessary. TUESDAY – SEPT. 19

12 Noon - The Fort Peck Senior Citizens’ monthly potluck next at the Fish Hatchery.

Noon – 4 p.m. - Valley Community Food Bank, serving only Valley County residents is open the third Tuesday of each month. If this is your first time applying for assistance, bring a photo ID and proof of physical residence. For more info., contact Nancy Bowman at 263-1253.

WEDNESDAY – SEPT. 20

2 p.m. - Foot Care will be available at the Nashua Senior Citizen Center. To sign up, call the center at 746-3370 or stop by the center.

THURSDAY – SEPT. 21

12 noon - Valley County Senior Citizens’ Harvest Potluck and general meeting at the Senior Citizen Center in Glasgow. There will be an election of officers held.

7 p.m. - The American Legion Auxiliary #41 meets at the VFW Hall in Glasgow.

SATURDAY – SEPT. 23

5:30 p.m. - The Hospital Guild Scholarship Fundraiser – Fashion Show and Silent Auction at the Cottonwood. Social begins at 5:30 p.m., with the fashion show at 6 p.m.

SUNDAY – SEPT. 24

100th Anniversary for Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Nashua. beginning with a Mass at 11 a.m., followed by a catered dinner at the Nashua Civic Center. Those planning to attend are asked to call 746-3345, 746-3317 or 228-9800.
