Wildfire crews from around the region line Third Avenue South in Glasgow on July 25. The Department of Natural Resources & Conservation has supplied six fire engines and 16 firefighters to be stationed here in Glasgow to battle fires across 13 counties in northeastern Montana. A Valley County resident stopped by the Courier office with a thank you ad and commented how wonderful these firefighting crews were, staying up all night to insure that no flare-ups would threaten her home and two others. She also mentioned all the neighbors and friends who dropped everything to come and help and said "What a wonderful community we live in!"
