'New Stars in the Western Skies' Seeks Competitors

Deb Berger played the title role in Always... Patsy Cline last summer at Fort Peck Summer Theatre. She will reprise selected numbers from the popular show on Aug. 4 at the fairgrounds.
With headliners Deb Berger (of 'Patsy' fame), Eliot Strommen and Tim Sampson all set to get the musical entertainments rolling at the fairgrounds on Aug. 4, the organizers of the 'New Stars in the Western Skies' talent show are still seeking a few more competitors for the various cash prizes available.
At press time, other performers on the bill include Cerenity Olson (Glasgow), Zora and Lynden Holt (Horse Ranch), McKenna, Summer and Kinley Strommen (Glasgow), Virgil Vaupel (Hinsdale), Crystal Dickerson (St. Marie), Haylee Fauth (Opheim), Cole Strong (Hinsdale), and Aubrey Hartsock (Glasgow).
Performances will take place at the Valley County Fairgrounds beginning at 6:30 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 4. Tickets are $5 for students, $8 for adults, ages 6 and under get in free. All proceeds will go to scholarships for prospective area art students.
