Two Rivers Organizes Community Spring Cleaning

Two Rivers Economic Growth has organized a community beautification project dubbed Valley County Clean Sweep. The event calls upon local businesses and citizens to aid in efforts to spring clean our communities in the county. T&R Trucking was tapped to aid in the removal of the rubbish plucked from around town at several marked drop-off points.

Some of the highlighted areas around Glasgow include, the underpass, several city parks, 3rd Avenue South, and Skylark Road. You are also encouraged to work anywhere you would like to see cleaned up as well.

Several local businesses have already confirmed they will participate in the event. Two Rivers Chair TeAra Bilbruck stated that Milk River will focus their efforts on Centennial Park, and that the Cottonwood Inn has decided to clean the lot north of Valley Bank and along the fence by the fairgrounds. Mayor Becky Erickson added that the city will have an extra truck riding around town to help out wherever needed throughout the day. According to Desiree Johnson, Glasgow High School students will assist in the effort as well.

Valley County Clean Sweep is slated to take place this Friday, April 28
