Mark Gullickson


Mark Gullickson, 58, of Glasgow, Mont., formerly of Sidney, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, in Billings.

A memorial celebration will be held this spring in Glasgow.

He was born Jan. 14, 1958, in Mayville, N.D. He was the youngest child of Leonard and Dorothy Gullickson. He attended numerous schools, as the family followed Leonard, who worked in construction.

As a teenager, Mark worked at the Burke Ranch. He enjoyed working alongside Don and the boys. He went to the Police Academy and was a police officer in Sidney, with his brother, Don. After being a police officer for awhile, he decided to run the school buses for Rau School. He then became an over-the-road trucker and continued to drive truck until he no longer could. But above all else, he was a loving father to Sarah and Josh, who were his world.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Don Burke.

Survivors include one daughter, Sarah, and her husband, Ryan, of Belfield, N.D .; one son, Josh, and his wife, Cori, of San Angelo, Texas; four grandsons, Aidan, Bodie, Colten and Samuel; siblings, Julie (Page), Harold and his wife, Louise, David and his wife, Denise, and Don and his wife, Annie; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
