Punt, Pass, Kick: Myrick Wins in Miles City

After winning in her age group in the local Punt, Pass, Kick competion, Glasgow's Davyn Myrick advanced to the sectional competition held in Miles City Oct. 2. Competing against athletes from Southern and Eastern Mont., as well as Northern Wyo., Myrick took the top spot in her age group with a distance of 214'5".

If Myrick's score ranks high enough, she may qualify to attend the Denver Bronco's Team Championship, which will be held Dec. 18 when the Broncos host the New England Patriots.

Results from Glasgow's PPK competition held Sept. 26:

6-7 girls: 1st, Ava Runner, 30'8"; 2nd, Riley Pedersen, 14'4".

6-7 boys: 1st, Bryant Green, 77'9".

8-9 boys: 1st, Khye Gamas, 161'3"; 2nd, Tripp Schmidt, 143'11"; 3rd, Cade Hudyma, 117'3".

10-11 girls: 1st, Shalynn Pedersen, 88'8".

10-11 boys: 1st, Grady Nielsen, 204'1"; 2nd, Connor Hudyma, 201'9"; 3rd, Carter Hoerster, 149'10".

12-13 boys: 1st, Rance Rhoads, 244'5"; 2nd, Kyler Hallock, 185'5"; 3rd, Keigan Ingram, 164'1".

14-15 girls: 1st, Davyn Myrick, 196'.
