Dailey, Wolff named Academic Scholar-Athletes
Glasgow graduates Megan Dailey and Amanda Wolff – both competing in track & field at Dickinson State University in North Dakota – have been named as NSAA Academic Scholar-Athletes.
The NSAA (North Star Athletic Association) announced its Academic Scholar-Athletes for the 2016 spring academic season July 1, with a total of 440 student-athletes receiving recognition.
The 440 recipients, participating in men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s wrestling, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s track & field, softball and baseball were recognized for their outstanding achievement in the classroom and on the playing field. To be eligible for the NSAA Academic Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must achieve a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale.
Dailey, who graduated from GHS in 2014 is studying Elementary Education and Amanda Wolff, a 2015 GHS graduate, is studying Exercise Science.
