Diane Schweigert

Diane Corrine (Susag) Schweigert, 76, of Glasgow died on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Peace Hospice in Great Falls.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 10, at the Scobey Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. with Pastor Paul Landeraaen and Pastor Charles Kelly officiating. Interment of ashes will be held at a later date.

She was born Aug. 4, 1939, in Scobey to Clarice and Ralph Susag. She graduated from Scobey High School in 1958, and then attended Eastern Montana College in Billings to pursue a career in teaching, where she went on to teach elementary education in Glasgow. She also worked as a CNA at the hospital and nursing home in Glasgow.

She was preceded in death by her father Ralph Susag, one brother, Ray, and a sister-in-law, Pat Susag.

She is survived by Jake Schweigert; three sons, Darrell Schweigert of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mitchell Schweigert and his wife, Julie, of Miles City, and Les Schweigert and his wife, Jenny, of Fargo, N.D.; one daughter, Lori Hinton and her husband, Perry, of New Carlisle, Ind.; three grandchildren; two brothers, Sylvan Susag and his wife, Dottie, of Fairfield, Mont., and Carl Susag of Scobey; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Susag, of Rockford, Ill.
