Ellen Fors

Ellen Fors, 61, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016. A private remembrance ceremony will be held at a later date.

She was born Feb 2, 1955, in Rexburg, Idaho, but her life really began when she married John Fors on July 1, 1981. Together they had many adventures living in extremely remote places like Yellowstone Park and Alaska. She happily took on every adventure as long as she was by John's side.

Her primary focus in life was God and her family. She was kind and caring and loved giving things away to others. An avid arts and crafts lady, she spent thousands of hours with her children and grandchildren creating new projects. She had a strong addiction to purchasing craft bags and patterns, and would occasionally have to give away handfuls so she could make room to buy more.

She fought a fierce battle with multiple health ailments for many years, and now she is at peace. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Lora Hayes; and a son, John David Fors.

Survivors include her husband, John Fors; one son, Paul Smith and his wife, Brier; one daughter, Rebekah Abern, and her husband, Jared; five grandchildren, McKayla Smith, McKaydee Smith, Kyson Smith, Guinevere Abern and Jackson Abern; and two sisters, Jennifer Hayes and Millie Kolakowski.
