The Local KC Council #2997 invites all boys and girls ages 10-14 (ages determined as of Jan. 1st) to participate in the local level of competition for the 2016 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship. The local competition will be held at 1 p.m. with signups at 12:30 p.m., at the Glasgow East Side School. Participants are required to furnish proof of age and written parental consent. 8-11 a.m. - A biscuit and gravy breakfast, along with pancakes, will be served at the Nashua Senior Center.

TUESDAY – FEB. 16

12-4 p.m. - Valley County Food Bank, serving only Valley County residents, located at 1020 1st Ave. N. is open the third Tuesday of every month. First-timers bring a photo ID and proof of physical residence. More info., Nancy Bowman at 263-1253.
