7-8:15 p.m. - GriefShare weekly seminar and support group designed to help rebuild your life after the death of a loved one at the Glasgow Evangelical Church located at 152 Aberdeen St.

7 p.m. - Thanksgiving Eve Service at First Lutheran Church with Holy Communion, followed by cider and muffins.

THANKSGIVING DAY

12 noon – 2 p.m. - The 25th annual Valley County Thanksgiving Day Dinner at the Glasgow Senior Citizens Center located at 328 4th Street South. The meal is free and open to everyone. There will be no carryout or deliveries available. For more info., call Ruth Ann Hutcheson at 228-8392.

SATURDAY – NOV. 28

12 Noon - Santa Claus arrives and will visit: Shopko 12:15 p.m., Prairie Ridge 12:45 p.m .; Nemont Manor 1:15 p.m .; Valley View Home 1:45 p.m .; and Pehlke's Furniture 2:30-4:30 p.m.

12-6:30 p.m. - Parade of Lights in downtown Glasgow.

1-2:30 p.m. - Free movie “Annie” at Valley Cinemas.

2:30-5 p.m. - Hay rides

5 p.m. - Tree Lighting Ceremony

6 p.m. - Christmas Lights Parade

9 a.m. - 4 p.m. - The Driver Examiner Office is open every Monday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Fridays from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., and every 1st, 2nd & 3rd Tuesday of the month from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. and closed from 12-1 p.m. for lunch. Call 228-9599.

7 p.m. - The Glasgow Evangelical Church class on Surviving the Holidays. Anyone is welcome to attend.

SATURDAY – DEC. 5

Block of Bucks Collection Day for Valley County children from infant to 12. Sign up until Nov. 30. Volunteers needed to help families shop Saturday, Dec. 5. Call Mary Armstrong 253-350-2070.

SUNDAY – DEC. 6

2 p.m. - Pinochle every 1st and 3rd Sunday at the Glasgow Senior Center. Everyone welcome.

WEDNESDAY – DEC. 9

1-4 p.m. - Veteran Service Officers will be in Glasgow at the VA Clinic to meet with veterans interested in applying for benefits. Please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214) with you. They will visit nursing homes and assisted living centers by appointment only. Call 406-265-4225 if interested.

SUNDAY – DEC. 13

5 p.m. - The American Legion and Auxiliary's Family Christmas Dinner at the Glasgow VFW Hall.

TUESDAY – DEC. 15

12-4 p.m. - Valley County Food Bank, serving only Valley County residents, located at 1020 1st Ave. N. is open the third Tuesday of every month. First-timers bring a photo ID and proof of physical residence. More info., Nancy Bowman at 263-1253.

SUNDAY – DEC. 20
