2015 Paint Run/Walk Set for Aug. 8

The 1st annual Paint/Run Walk will take place in Glasgow on Saturday, Aug. 8. The registration starts at 8 a.m. at the Glasgow Civic Center and the run/walk begins at 9 a.m. This is a 2.5-mile fun run/walk with proceeds to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. It is sponsored by the Glasgow High School Student Council and the Glasgow Recreation Department.

The race begins in front of the Glasgow Civic Center and proceeds north for two blocks before turning left and heading west on 2nd Ave. South. At the edge of town, participants will turn left and follow the Levee around the south side of Glasgow; the course will pass behind the hospital and the Glasgow Civic Center; at the corner of 2nd Ave. South, participants will turn left and pass in front of the Milk River Activity Center, the Glasgow Police Department, Glasgow Elks and finish in the parking lot across the street from D&G Sports and Western.

All participants are required to check in prior to the race at the Glasgow Civic Center staging area. Participants are asked to wear a white T-shirt. Alcohol is not permitted.

The entry fees are $25 for the Early Bird Entry (through Aug. 1), and $30 for late entry (after Aug. 1).
