Bessie O. White-Beautry

Bessie O. (McKeage) White-Beautry, 97, a 29-year East Wenatchee resident, passed away on Thursday afternoon, June 4, 2015, at Avalon Adult Care Home in East Wenatchee.

An inurnment graveside service will be held at a later date in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in East Wenatchee.

She was born on Nov. 18, 1917, at Saco, Mont., to the late Thomas and Lulu (Ferguson) McKeage. She was raised and received her schooling in Saco and graduated from Saco High School.

In 1936, she moved to Grand Coulee, Wash., where she remained until moving to Seattle in 1939. She made her home in Seattle for 23 years before moving to the Lake Meade area of Arizona in 1962. She made a brief return to Seattle in 1984, prior to moving to make her home permanently in East Wenatchee.

On Jan. 2, 2015, she married her longtime companion, Al Beaudry.

She was a longtime member of the Holy Apostles Catholic Church in East Wenatchee. She was an avid photographer and was always working on photo albums.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Barbara Darrow

and Claudia Murphy.

Survivors include her husband, Al Beaudry, of East Wenatchee; four step children, Corynne Beaudry of Tacoma, A.V. Beaudry Jr. of Wenatchee, Bernie Christensen and her husband, Tom, of East Wenatchee, and Jay Dee Beaudry of Lynnwood, Wash .; a son-in-law, Ron Darrow, of Forks, Wash .; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and some great-great-grandchildren.
