Harold Dean Eide

Harold Dean Eide, 89, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015, in the Billings Clinic.

Services will be announced at a following date.

He was born on June 29, 1925, to Chester H. Sr. and Erminia J. Eide in Dagmar, Mont. He joined brothers Chester H. Jr. and Clifford C. A younger brother, Harry, followed Harold.

He graduated from Glasgow High School in 1943. He started farming immediately after graduation. Not long after establishing his farm, he also branched into ranching.

He met Mary Lou Molvig in high school and they were married on Aug. 29, 1948, in the Lutheran Church in Wolf Point.

He not only loved farming and ranching, but every animal out there. He was notorious for bringing home strays of any kind. Even sage hens had a special place in his heart. He also had a love for aviation. He liked to hire pilots to fly him out to check his cows.

Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Lou; along with several nieces, nephews and good friends.

Bell Mortuary of Glasgow is assisting in arrangements.
