Festival Of Trees

Bonnie Davidson / The Courier

Carlos Gonzales and Levi Overvold spent a little bit of time looking at the entries in the Festival of Trees that took place this weekend. The event helped raise over $5,000 for the Relay for Life this year. This year's People's Choice went the "The Grinch" tree that was sponsored by the Hi Line Home Programs, Inc. They will receive $100 in Chamber Bucks. Rod Karst, one of the organizers for the event, said it was a successful event this year and hopes to get more than the 35 entries they had this year. One wreath was auctioned off for over $200. Brian Austin was the live auctioneer during the dinner and auction that took place Friday night.
