Search Warrant Leads To Arrests

The Drug Task Force and Valley County Sheriff's Office produced a search warrant for two local residents in Glasgow on Friday, July 25. That searched turned up several charges and arrests. Sheriff Glen Meier said he couldn't elaborate on details that led officers to the residence, but he said that the investigation would continue.

While theft charges originally were listed, they were eventually dropped. A juvenile arrest was made after the search and he was charged with criminal distribution of drugs – felony; criminal mischief – felony; tampering with evidence – felony; obstructing a peace officer or public servant – misdemeanor; criminal possession of dangerous drugs – misdemeanor; and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia – misdemeanor.

The juvenile was sent to a detention center in Great Falls and has the possibility of facing charges as an adult.

David John Dahl and Mary Ellen Dahl also were charged with possession of dangerous drugs – misdemeanor: and possession of drug paraphernalia – misdemeanor. Melvin Grandchamp was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia – misdemeanor.
