Sandra Lee Foth

Sandra Lee (Flaten) Foth, 67, passed away peacefully at the home of her sister, Connie, in Billings, Mont. She had been diagnosed with stage four cancer and lung disease just four months ago and was under hospice care.

Cremation has taken place and graveside inurnment will be held at 2 p.m., on Sunday, July 27, at the Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point.

She was born to Clinton and Cora Flaten, Sept. 28, 1946, in Wolf Point, Mont. She attended the first eight grades at Turner School in the Prairie Elk Community southwest of Wolf Point and three and a half years of high school in Wolf Point.

At 18 years old, she left home to go to trade school in St. Louis, Mo. There she met and married Larry Bothe. They had one son, Patrick. She and Larry were divorced around 1985. She married Ron Foth in 1990. They moved to Montana and eventually settled in Billings. She worked as a waitress most of her adult life. She loved growing flowers and plants and collecting antiques and vintage items purchased at garage sales and antique markets. She decorated her home with her finds.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Foth; and her parents, Clinton and Cora Flaten.

Survivors include one son, Patrick Laurence Bothe, of St. Louis; and six siblings: Sharon Riley and her husband, Wayne, of Lewistown, Mont., Marlene Potts and her husband, Larry, of Hewitt, Texas, Marcia Fast and her husband, Gary, of Lustre, Doug Flaten of rural Wolf Point, Connie Charette and her husband, Bob, of Billings, and Dave Flaten and his wife, Pam, of Glasgow.
