Zachary Scott Buckles

Zachary Scott Buckles, 20, died Monday, April 28, 2014, as the result of a work-related accident.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 5, at 3 p.m. at Bell Chapel in Glasgow.

He was born Jan. 28, 1994, to Nicole Rae Buckles and Mike Owen Meland, and raised in Glasgow. He attended Glasgow High School until 2011 and has been employed since in the oil fields.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, ice hockey, baseball, football and soccer. He was a great friend and "brother" to many. He loved helping people and his heart always went out to those in need. His family was also very important to him.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Gene and Edna Sullivan; and his uncle, Larry Sullivan.

Survivors include his fiancé and the love of his life, Naomi Wooley; an infant son, Cambell James Youngman, of Glasgow; his parents, Nicole Buckles and Mike Meland; three brothers, Skye Buckles, Jacob Mogan and Sebastian Ogrand; three sisters, Sady Bilbruck, Alexis Early and Alexander Meland; grandparents, Becky Buckles, Deb and Larry Meland; an aunt and uncle, Jim and Leslie Sullivan and Uncle Bob Sullivan; and many cousins and adopted relatives.

Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers are Clint Norcutt, Chaz Gordon, Anthony Grandchamp, Andy Gardner, Devon Stone, Boyd Sinclair, Jacoby Collins, Trey Wells, Willy Winder, Jansen Palmer, Tucker Holstein and Skye Buckles.

Bell Mortuary of Glasgow is in charge of the arrangements.
