Bozeman Tier II Team In National Tournament

3 Ice Dawgs Helping Bozeman In Quest For Title

A remarkable season for the Bozeman Tier II team will culminate this week at they participate in the National Tournament in Wayne, N.J.

The tournament begins with pool play which runs through Friday. The pool play will determine the seeding that the teams receive this weekend as they play for a shot at the championship.

Bozeman has three Glasgow Ice Dawgs on their team, Harley Eliason, Connor Siemensen and Ryan Padden. The squad has been all but unstoppable in the previous tournaments they’ve taken part in this season in Jackson Hole, Salt Lake City, Billings and the Spokane area.

Bozeman should continue to be a favorite heading into the mother of all tournaments.

The Bozeman squad will kick off their pool play today against the Columbia Cyclones at 1 p.m.

On Thursday, Bozeman will take on Morgantown at 10:30 a.m. and then finish their pool play on Friday with a game against Knoxville at 5 p.m.

Glasgow Ice Dawgs head coach Mike Eliason said that efforts are being made to get the games on TV at the Elks for those who want to root for the hometown guys as they go for the title.

Eliason also said that he posted a link on the Glasgow Ice Dawgs Facebook page for those who want to watch from home.
