Marge Connell

Marge Connell, 82, of Glasgow, formerly of Fargo, N.D., died Jan. 11, 2014, at the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd in New Rockford, N.D.

At her request, no funeral services were held. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Kensal, N.D. in the spring of 2014.

Magdalena “Marge” (Roehrich) Connell was born Oct. 4, 1931, in Red Lake Township, Logan County, North Dakota. She grew up near Strasburg, N.D.

On Sept. 21, 1957, she was united in marriage to LeRoy S. Connell at Moorhead, Minn. They lived in Fargo until 1965 when they moved to Glasgow. Roy Connell died Sept. 4, 2003. Marge entered an Assisted Living facility in Glasgow in 2012, and had moved into Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd in New Rockford in December of 2013.

Survivors include one daughter, Donna Ringler and her husband, Dewayne, of Cody, Wyo.; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Derald and Karen Connell of Kensal, N.D.; several nieces and nephews, including Mike Connell of Detroit Lakes, Minn., Terri Connell of Fargo, Patty Connell of Dilworth, Minn., Tim Connell of Cheyenne, Wyo., Doug Connell of Kensal, and Duane Connell of Petersburg, N.D.
