Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913

Angeline Susan Jensen

Angeline "Angie" Susan Jensen, 82, of Opheim, Mont., passed away on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014.

She was born in Mankota, Saskatchewan on Aug. 7, 1931, to Rohous and Katherine Selenski. She was a devoted wife and mother of 54 years, and a true friend. She was a caring and compassionate person who always put the needs of others before her own. She always taught and encouraged her family and others the importance of being a true disciple of God.

She was a devout Catholic for over 75 years and an advocate of saying the Rosary daily. She enjoyed working outdoors, walking, baking, drives in the country and spending time with family.

She graduated from the Regina Grey Nuns Hospital as a registered nurse in 1953. She worked as a registered nurse at Sheridan County Memorial Hospital in Plentywood, where she met Truels Jensen Jr. and they were married on May 9, 1959. They decided to raise a family and she thought being a homemaker was more important than working, but never gave up her pursuit of the health and caring of others. Angie was a true Angel and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Truels; four sons, John, Jeff, Mark and Brian; two sisters, Amy and Reggie; two brothers, Steve and Joe; five grandchildren, Corey, Olivia, Jessica, Jordyn and Jillian.

Services will be announced at a later date.
