Wesley Michael Murphy

Wesley Michael Murphy, 30, a computer genius that worked for Freeman-Gaffney Association and an all-around great guy, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at the Billings Clinic in Billings, Mont.

A memorial service is planned for January. More information is to be announced at a later date.

He was born to Cynthia (Pearson) and the late Robert “Murph” Murphy on Sept. 8, 1983, in Malta. He grew up in Malta and attended schools in Malta and Saco as a child. He had a love for electronics and Christmas lights, collecting everything he could get his hands on and fixing everything that was broken. It was his passion. That passion grew into the love of computers.

He added to his life the love of Brianna Barnard and together they had two beautiful children: Madyson, the cutest little redhead you have ever seen, and Michael, the spitting image of his father.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Murph” Murphy; Grandma and Grandpa Pearson; Grandma Irene; Aunt Susie and Uncle Bo; Uncle Wes; and Uncle Mark.

Survivors include one daughter, Madyson, and one son, Michael, both of Saco; his fiancé, Brianna Barnard; his mother, Cindy Murphy (Ron Stough); sisters, Kellie Brenden and her husband, Jason, of Helena, Kaycie (Scott Henson) Murphy of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Joel Dupree and Serena Nulf; two nieces, Brooklyn and Daytona Brenden; five nephews, Dalton Brenden, Dillon Brenden, Clayton Dupree, Jacob and Nicolos Infante; and two uncles, Dean Pearson and his wife, Jenny, and Dennis Pearson.

Bell Mortuary of Glasgow is in charge of arrangements.
